From the Addams Office…

As the school year progresses, we are noticing more and more students forgetting to bring their lunches and/or Physical Education clothing to school.  We just wanted to send out a quick reminder that Addams frequently has different schedules such as assembly days, flex days, etc. that can cause times in the schedule to change.  Unfortunately with these schedule changes and the sheer amount of things being dropped off in the front office to distribute, we are having some students miss their lunch or are unable to dress for PE.  In order to remedy this, we ask that parents stress to their students that they should be responsible for bringing these items to school daily.   That being said, the staff completely understands that sometimes a student will forget something at home, and we always try to do our best to get a student what they need when such a situation arises.  Thanks again for your support!

Incoming 6th Grade Parent Night

We are excited for our sixth grade students to “join the movement” of Addams.  This informational night is a great opportunity to find out some useful tips for a smooth transition into Jane Addams. This event will take place on Wednesday, December 11 from 6 pm – 7 pm (Dual Language Japanese and Chinese Immersion sessions will occur at 5:30 pm prior to the large group meeting). Our partnership is important for the success of your child.  We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have about Addams and about the transition to junior high.
