Chess Club [email protected] Students will be learning chess skills and general strategies – while applying knowledge in a competitive format (Club meets January – March).

Club Unify brings students with special needs and general education students together is social and sports related activities (Club meets all school year).
Coding Club k[email protected] Students will use Google CS First Game Design to learn basic video game concepts using block-based coding language (Club meets October – December).

Crusader Chorus nina[email protected] After school chorus is for students that enjoy singing and will participate in performances throughout the school year (Club meets August-December & March-May).

Staff and Student’s develop and implement social emotional curriculum for the incoming 6th grade students at Campanelli School.  Addams students present these lessons to 6th grade classrooms (Club meets January-May).
Dissection Club annerogers[email protected] Students will be participating in actual dissections (Club meets September-May).
Fluid Power Club [email protected] Students will learn about fluid power by experimenting with simple hydraulic devices and use standard construction tools.  Design a hydraulic prototype that meets the standards established by the National Fluid Power Challenge rules and create a strong Engineering Portfolio, that will guide the rebuild of your machine from scratch on competition day (Club meets September-December).

FUSE [email protected] Students will take on challenges and solve them.  They will apply and develop a variety of skills, including design, coding, engineering and problem-solving (Club meets December – January).

Future Millionaires [email protected] Students will learn about and promote financial literacy so that they develop healthy money habits and the entrepreneurial spirit (Club meets October-March).

MakerSpace [email protected] Provide students with an opportunity to explore, create and invent using a variety of tools and technology (Club meets January-May).

Students will learn about the different cultures of Addams by planning and promoting school-wide decorations and celebrations. (Club meets August-May)

Teach and coach students on acting skills, singing, dancing and rehearsing for a musical.  Teach crew techniques for behind the scene support, costumes and building sets.  The Musical performance is in March (Club meets November – March).
Podcast Club [email protected]d54.org The club consist of outlining and planning episodes for the podcast which is recorded at Addams.  Experience with technology/podcasts is not necessary (Club meets all year). 
Reading and More with “Iris” the Therapy Dog barbdimatt[email protected] Students will complete work, read and have social time with Iris the therapy dog (Club meets all year).
Rocket Club [email protected] Students will learn how to build their own rocket from scratch.  Students will then launch their rockets and watch them soar (Club meets January – March).

Rube Goldberg [email protected] Students compete with machines they have designed and created.  Competitions encourage teamwork and problem solving (Club meets January-March).

Speech/Debate Club [email protected] Students will learn public speaking skills and how to debate their position on a topic of interest with other students (Club meets January-May).

Students plan, organize and participate in monthly school assemblies that recognize students and staff.  Students will also lead out games/activities during the assemblies (Club meets August-May).

Students show case their specific talents which they perform twice; once for the entire school and in the evening for their families (Club meets April-May).
Ultimate Frisbee [email protected] Students will learn the skills of playing “ultimate frisbee” and compete in friendly games with one another (Club meets September-November).
