Dear Addams Community:
Yesterday afternoon was AMAZING! First, we would like to thank the parents, brothers, sisters and students that participated in our 2-mile run event. The weather cleared up just in time and it was heartwarming to see some of our students running/walking side by side with their parents in the event. We are grateful to our PE Department for providing this opportunity for our students to practice life skills of health and wellness. Next, we would like to thank all the students and staff that came out the Culvers PTA event last evening. In speaking with the owner of Culvers, it sounds like we had record sales for the fundraiser! Unofficially, we made about $700 for the Addams PTA and ultimately, our students. Just as importantly, our staff members really enjoyed the opportunity to connect with families and students outside of the walls of Addams.
As a reminder, we are offering another chance for families to connect next Friday, when we will be hosting the first Addams Family Movie Night. Please see below for more details.
Finally, we would like to congratulate our girls basketball and boys and girls cross country teams as they completed their seasons this week. We are very proud of these student athletes for their hard work and for representing our school in such a positive manner.
