Dear Addams Community:

After two years of virtual curriculum nights, it was extra special to see so many parents in person on Tuesday night. We hope you enjoyed hearing from the staff about what to expect this year at Addams. Mr. Musselman and I also appreciated the opportunity to provide parents with a brief introduction to our 3A’s of Accept, Achieve and Amaze.  As we complete the second week of the school year, our students appear to be coming into their own. They now understand the learning expectations and have mastered getting from class to class in three minutes or less. We are very proud of their progress so far, and can see that this year’s group of Crusaders are destined for greatness!

In addition, students worked hard to complete the fall mathematics MAP assessments and we are confident they will do the same next week, when they take the Reading MAP assessments during Language Arts class.

If your child is having any challenges with the adjustment to junior high, do not hesitate to reach out. We wish everyone a fantastic weekend!

 Regards,
