Addams Families,
This week was another phenomenal week at Addams. Students certainly did achieve by giving their best efforts as they wrapped up winter MAP testing. We also have a couple groups that were amazing while representing Addams with honor. Congratulations to our Fluid Power Challenge participants for their relentless efforts in creating the best machines that represent Addams. Best of luck to our boys basketball teams as they begin tournament play tonight at Eisenhower JH. Finally, I would like to recognize our cheerleading and poms teams for their pursuit of flawless performances as the season progressed. Need dinner for the family tonight? Support our PTA by ordering from our partner, Old Town Pizza, and stating you are supporting Addams JH.

Girls Volleyball and Wrestling starts Jan. 6th
Any student trying out for volleyball or wishing to take part in wrestling must have an approved sports physical (link) and concussion form (link) on file with the nurse prior to being able to participate. Additionally, a Wrestling or Girls Volleyball permission form needs to be completed as well; this can be found on the Addams Website. Chromebook Reminder
Chromebooks are integral to student learning on a daily basis, and we have a limited number of loaner Chromebooks and chargers. Please remind your child to charge their Chromebooks each night so they are prepared for learning. It could be helpful to create a routine of plugging it in before bedtime. We appreciate the support.
Smile Dental Clinic – February 6, 2025
Jane Addams Junior High School has partnered again with Smile Illinois to offer in-school dental care. Our in-school dental program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle dental care from licensed local professionals. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary. Dine to Donate- Old Town Pizza
Addams is hosting a dine to donate event at Old Town Pizza on Friday, December 13th from 5-10pm. Mention this fundraiser when you order and Old Town Pizza will donate 20% of the sales to the Addams PTA. Old Town Pizza is located at 906 Bode Road in Schaumburg.

Help support the PTA by purchasing a membership. Memberships are only $10 or 2 for $15. Purchase memberships online and your membership card will be emailed to you. Anyone can join: Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa or any community members.
