This year we will be hosting our graduation at 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Schaumburg High School. We do not issue tickets for graduation, however, due to the capacity of the gymnasium, we ask all families to please limit the total number of family members in attendance. Please plan to arrive by 7:30 pm on the night of the ceremony so students have time to line up in the auxiliary gym and you have time to find your seats. There will be some seats available on the floor for individuals who cannot navigate the bleachers. 8th grade graduation is an event for 8th grade families only. It is not a school event open for all students to attend.
The last day of school for eighth-grade students will be that same day, May 21, 2026. On this day, they will be rehearsing for graduation and celebrating with a picnic full of fun activities. ALL 8th grade students MUST be present on this day.
All graduates will be required to purchase a gown and a keepsake medallion for the ceremony. 8th grade parents, you have the option to pay for the gown and medallion by logging on to the
Infinite Campus parent portal and locating the “School Store” tab. The price for both of these items is $26 plus a small processing fee. If you prefer, you can send a check (made out to Jane Addams Junior High School) or $26 cash with your student to the main office. If purchasing the gown/medallion represents a hardship for any family, email Mr. Musselman and the school will be happy to provide financial support. Students will not receive the above items until payment is received or arrangements have been made. Let us know if you have any questions.
