Dear Addams Community:
It has been another exciting week of learning at Jane Addams Junior High! It was fun to see so many of our staff and students demonstrate their school spirit by dressing up for the Student Ambassador sponsored Addams spirit days. The final spirit day will be this coming Monday, October 31 were students are welcome to wear their favorite pajamas (optional: bring a small blanket or stuff animal) to school on Pajama Day. In addition, this afternoon we will host our next installment of the world-famous Addams 3 A’s assemblies. The Science, STEM and Spanish Departments will honor students in their classes that are exhibiting Accepting, Achieving and Amazing at distinguished levels. We will also highlight our Club Unify, Unified Sports teams and Yearbook Clubs this month. Students will be able to participate in raffles with their Crusader Cash and we will end the assemblies with a student-staff Mummy Relay Race sponsored by our Student Ambassadors. It is going to be a fun way to send the students off for the weekend!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out.
Regards,
Chris Bingen Principal
Principal Assistant Principal

District 54 Virtual Backpack
District 54 shares information about community events with our students and families through our Virtual Backpack. We know that parents are interested in extracurricular activities. At the same time, we don’t want the homework, letters from the teachers, school news and other important district information to get lost among the countless other pieces of paper in our students’ backpacks. Please click here for additional information.
