Students dancing Students dancing Students dancing

Dear Addams Community,

It was another outstanding week of learning at Addams Junior High! Students and staff have really taken on the challenges of our “Addams Appreciates” month! As an example on Friday, many students took part in the annual Addams dance competition run by our Physical Education Department. Each group choreographed their own dance and many staff members were on hand to judgs. It was definitely a “peak moment” as the groups were whittled down to one winning group! I think we may see some of these students on a reality TV dance show soon.

Additionally, Friday marked the end of the 2nd trimester. We are very proud of all we have accomplished together so far this year, but know the best is yet to come. Our students continue to live by the three tenets of Addams of living above the line, maintaining a growth mindset and pursuing happiness as they have “joined the movement” of Jane Addams Junior High.

Have a wonderful weekend!
