Collage of pictures

Dear Addams Community,

My goodness, it has sure been a week of “peak moments” at Addams! Here are just some of the many highlights of the week:

  • This past Saturday, a group of students led by Mrs. Sloma won the area Rube Goldberg competition.
  • The Addams Hydraulics Club represented our school with skill at the annual District 54 Hydraulics competition.
  • Our wrestling teams earned co-conference regular season champion status and followed that up with varsity being crowned District 54 champions! Congratulations to the coaches and these dedicated students.
  • The 7th grade volleyball team took the championship and 8th grade team earned a hard fought 3rd place finish in the District 54 Volleyball tournament. The young ladies under the direction of their coaches showed a ton of heart and determination!
  • 8th grade Language Arts classes took part in “speed dating” for books! Many found love (in the form of a good book).
  • Forty-three students were honored with Addams Movement Awards at our latest Addams Pep Assembly.

Additionally, we kicked off Addams March Happiness month today! Please join us in “pursuing” happiness during our 21 day challenge. See the attached calendar to take part with our staff and students. 2019 Addams 21 Day Challenge.pdf
