Teacher's at Ricarrdo's restaurantTeacher's at Ricarrdo's restaurant

Dear Addams Community,

This week at Jane Addams has been eventful to say the least. On Wednesday evening, our PTA hosted another successful family dinner night at Ricardos. The staff enjoyed spending time with our students and families outside of Jane Addams. Ricardos generously donated $1000 to the Addams PTA and ultimately, our students. We are beyond grateful for this partnership.

We often, as a school, discuss the importance of having a Growth Mindset. That has never been more evident than it was this afternoon. Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue in the gym, we unexpectedly had to make a change to the location of our PE classes and our All School Be Addams Assembly. With every road block, there is always another path. We took a creative path- Our PE classes were re-routed to a new location and our assembly became more innovative. For the first time ever, we had a “virtual assembly”. Our assembly was shown via the video announcement system. Students and staff were recognized as we do every month for “joining the movement”.

Have a great weekend!
